Roughout Leathers
It takes more than 80 steps to handcraft each pair of Red Wing boots.
It takes only three steps to make them last: clean, condition and protect.
Step 1: Clean
Always clean excess dirt from your footwear to prevent wear and drying. Using Red Wing Shoes Eraser Kit, lightly rub the edge of the eraser over the soiled area. For deep stains and marks, apply more pressure. If the stain or dirt remains, wet both the eraser and the stain with clean water and repeat the rubbing action. Let dry, then apply eraser to remove water spots.
Step 2: Condition
For Muleskinner leather, apply Mink Oil lightly across the toe box, as needed. Mink Oil will darken the leather color. Abilene and Mohave leathers require no conditioner.
Step 3: Protect
Add extra protection to preserve your footwear investment. Red Wing Shoes Leather Protector provides an invisible shield from water, dirt, oil and mud.
